Conditions of use.
ADVICE ON CONDITIONS OF USE FOR HALL USERS
We want you all to get the best use of the Hall and below have listed some simple rules which I hope you will pass on to your group:

Make sure your group is familiar with location of emergency exits fire extinguishers and emergency alarm buttons

Clean and replace any Hall equipment after use

Put your own equipment back in its agreed storage area

Ensure the floors are reasonably clean before leaving, spillages etc are cleaned

Do not use equipment belonging to other groups without consent

If you are using your own key please ensure all lights are off and doors locked when leaving the Hall

Where Groups have members under 18 years, these will be properly supervised at all times in and around the Hall.

PLEASE REFER TO THE CHILD PROTECTION WARNINGS POSTED IN THE HALLS.

The Hall is hired at user’s own risk

The kitchen is hired at the user’s own risk and those preparing and providing food have responsibility for food hygiene.

PLEASE ENSURE THAT ALL SENSIBLE HYGIENE PRECAUTIONS ARE TAKEN IN THE PREPARATION AND DISTRIBUTION OF FOOD.
The John McLintock Hall Trust cannot take responsibility for loss or damage to user’s person or equipment or any illness resulting from the distribution of good by lessees.
Users will be liable for any loss or damage to Hall property or that of any other group whose property they are not entitled to use.
THE ABOVE ADVICE IS FOR REGULAR HALL USERS IN FORMAL GROUPS/ORGANISATIONS. THE TRUST RESERVES THE RIGHT TO ACCEPT OTHER ‘PRIVATE’ BOOKINGS AT ITS DISCRETION.
